Dear Friend:
A Father spending time with his daughter while on vacation had a MOMENT to say this "We were talking (she actually does that with me now!) and I was sharing about how we have to fill our minds
with hope and faith and trust. And how we can be thrown about by doubt and fear and anxiety unless we choose
and allow God's spirit to fill and guide us."
Have you ever stopped for a moment and thought to yourself how important a moment is? He could have chose any topic in the world to talk about but he chose to speak about God.
I have visited the elderly and have discovered they wish they had thought about their moments more.
Have you had a moment where someone spoke evil to you and it hurt bad? You think by just holding on to that anger things will get better and we can move on.
In a moment recently I heard a sermon and these wise words were preached.
Holding on to unforgiveness allows that memory to live rent-free in your heart.
Give up the right to revenge.
PRAYER: God help me to clear my heart today. Help me to experience the power of a moment. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
"Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. 6 The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace" (Romans 8:5-6 NIV).
